MedFiles is a major support system for transportation companies within the medical community as far as tracking appointment dates, notifying clinics, gathering copies of documents and making good decisions as to the employability of a driver. MedFiles Tracking
- HTML electronic communication between client and CMS
- Fax Request for Services to the medical clinics

Using the MedFiles Tracking
STEP 1
Complete html for that is automatically emailed to the CMS MedFiles Tracking System

STEP 2
MedFiles Faxes “Request for Services” and “Return Fax Coversheet” to the Clinic

STEP 3
Clinic completes requested services and uses “Return Fax Cover Sheet” to return information to CMS.

STEP 4
MedFiles E-mails the Status Report at 10:00am, 2:00 pm & 4:00 pm

MedFiles can be used from any desktop with E-mail capabilities. In late July, 2005, there will be a Web Based version available. The MedFiles system identifies incoming data by the sender’s E-mail address and links the data with your company’s demographics. The MedFiles Status Report may be sent to one, a few or all of the E-mail address linked with your company in our system. For security purposes, you would provide the Names, E-mail addresses and who should receive the MedFiles Status Report.

MedFiles Review is a premium service offered to companies who are looking for help in the medical compliance for drug screening and Physical Exams under the Department of Transportation.
CMS has published a 100 plus page book for reviewing DOT Physical Exams. With a staff including access to Nurses and Medical Doctors where more in depth questions arise, CMS provides an evaluation and recommendation as to the compliance and qualification of the driver. The Results are transmitted back to the carrier on a three times per day basis affording the carrier to make timely decisions. The reports are similar but with more detail of the reports shown in MedFiles Tracking.
