CMS takes great pride in our concierge level customer services. However, there are times when you prefer to do it yourself. That is why we provide many tools, systems and services, designed to improve your efficiency.
The CMS WebPortal is an intuitive program that allows our clients to set up and track scheduled services. It is fully customizable for your individual needs.
The CMS WebPortal site has three primary functions:
Clinics are provided with Request for Service authorizations.
Verifies or establishes a billing protocol between the clinic and CMS.
Allows services to be tracked from start to finish.
View status of scheduled services
Allows user to view requested services, as well as the status of each.
Users can view documentation for completed services.
View all Completed Services
Allows user to see all services for their company.
CMS provides a variety of Drug Screen Reporting to ensure your business is following procedure and in compliance with the law.
DOT Physical Examiner Certification
All drivers are required to be certified by a medical examiner listed on the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners. Before drivers are allowed to operate a CMV, this certification must be placed in their Driver Qualification file. Many carriers are not even aware of this consuming process.
CMS recognized this need and created a report for our clients. Before we pay for a DOT Physical, we verify that the Physical is acceptable, and email this report to our clients at no cost.
Dr Pepper Report
By request, CMS will send a report three times per day showing the status of Coordinated Services. These reports are sent at 10 AM, 2 PM, and 4 PM (EST) and reference the 1940s advertising, “Dr Pepper Time – a time to Re-Charge.”
This report can act as a checklist to allow you and your staff to activate new employees as quickly as possible and follow up on Random Selections and Post-Accident testing. This information is also available and updated in real time on the CMS WebPortal.
Random selection is required for a company’s drug-free workplace policy, and for compliance with governmental and industry regulations. Random selection by a third party is encouraged to ensure lack of bias and fair selection.
CMS provides FREE Random Selections to all of our clients, in comparison to other companies who charge $100 per month or more for the same service. If you pair this tool with the CMS Scheduling and Tracking program, the ability to confirm that random tests were performed becomes much easier.
Reasonable Suspicion Training for DOT Supervisors
Employers must provide training to all persons who supervise employees subject to the regulations, in accordance with 49 CFR Part 382.603. The purpose of this training is to enable supervisors to determine whether reasonable suspicion exists to require an employee to undergo testing described in 49 CFR Part 382.307.
Many companies will charge $200 per hour for this training. CMS provides this training to its clients for FREE. These course materials include 60 minutes of training on alcohol misuse and 60 minutes on controlled substances use. CMS will provide a certificate of completion upon submittal and successful completion of the review test.
